David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Ricke and Lois Ricke; and his sister Susan Wallace. He is survived by: his wife Susie Ricke; and his daughters, Stephanie Ricke, Elizabeth Marshall (Kevin), Sarah Hellmich (Seth) and Emily Nowlin (Franklin).

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at the Decatur County Fairgrounds Community Building (1635 W Park Rd, Greensburg, IN 47240).
