He was predeceased by: his parents, James Phillips and Bertha Caster Phillips; his sister Barbara Ann Phillips; his children, Ronnie Jo and Wendy Jo Phillips; his granddaughter Sydney Jane Ward; his nephew Greg Phillips; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Newman and Nancy Phillips.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Ward (Jeff), Stephen Phillips (Cara), Shelley Bailey (Ryan Nobbe) and Sarah Phillips (Travis Starnes); his grandchildren, Shelby Kirchhoff (Jason), Jonathon Ward, Amalea Phillips, Jaxson Phillips, Ethan Bailey (Tori), Evan Bailey, Tucker Bailey, Wryn Miller and Ridge Miller; his great grandchildren, Aker Kirchhoff, Sage Kirchhoff, Sawyer Kirchhoff and Quinn Bailey; and his brothers, Gary Phillips (Phyllis) and Albert Phillips. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
