He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Risse (Berkemeier); his former wife Julia Risse; his sisters, Irene Benson and Patricia Risse; his mother Theresia Risse (Pat); and his grandson Tucker Risse.
He is survived by: his father Gerhard Risse (Natalie) of Venice Florida; his siblings, Gary Risse (Jo Ann) of Fortville Indiana, Karola Crawford of Seminole and Louise Lopez (Arturo) of Palestine; his sons, Ryan and Roland Risse of North Port, Florida; his godson Marcus Lange (Zawadi) of San Bruno; his uncle Reinhold Prisslinger; and his aunt Birgit Linder.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home (302 N Franklin St, Greensburg, IN 47240). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
