With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth E. Hamilton of Greensburg, Indiana, born in Decatur, Indiana, who passed away on December 8, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry J. Dwenger and Mary Dwenger (Hessler); her husband Charles H. Hamilton; and her siblings, Dick Dwenger, Leonard Dwenger, Kathleen Scheidler, Esther Martin, Rose Powers, Anna McCullough, Betty Harris and Mary Ellen Veerkamp.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Peetz (John), Ann Stier (Marvin), Chuck Hamilton (Dianna), James Hamilton (Susan), Linda Ortman (Gary), Barb Mattox (Gregg), Helen Schutte (Dan), Philip Hamilton, Carol Reed (Todd), Joyce Ricke (Bob), Dale Hamilton (Susan) and Joseph Hamilton (Jessie); and her brother Edward Dwenger (Brenda). She is also survived by 48 grandchildren and 67 great grandchildren.
