She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lee Tungate and Nannie Jane Tungate; her siblings, Betty Lou Amburgey (Tungate), Granville Tungate, Lee Tungate (Linda), Bill Tungate, Charlie Tungate and Marvin Tungate; her grandson Aaron Michael; and her daughters-in-law, Brenda Tungate and Donna Tungate.
She is survived by: her children, Emma Bishop (Terry), Darryl Tungate, John Tungate and Nyla Jewell; her grandchildren, Terry Jr., James, Amanda, Brandon, Damon, Samantha and Kattie; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Toby, Cherysh, Neil and Evelynn; and her siblings, Everett Tungate, David Tungate, Dorothy Miller (Larry), Doren Clarkson, Charlene Melton (Tom) and Mary Jane Smith (Mitchell). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the LifeLine Wesleyan Church (2002 Moscow Rd, Greensburg, IN 47240). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
