He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Burkhart and Theresa Burkhart (Hessler); his siblings, Tom, Joe and Rosemary Wallpe; and his parents-in-law, Dennis and Irma Shadday.
He is survived by: his sons, Jared Burkhart (Amber) of Greensburg and Ryan Burkhart (Jenny) of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Emily, Anna, Mason Burkhart, Nolan and Maggie Burkhart; his siblings, Ed Burkhart (Joann) of Greensburg and Luella Feldman (Marvin) of Indianapolis, IN; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Burkhart of Greensburg, Mamie Burkhart of Hixson, TN and Jim Wallpe of Batesville. He is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary Catholic Church and/or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
