He is survived by: his sons, Cary J. "Jeff" Higginbotham (Kathleen) and Mark Higginbotham; his nephew Timothy Higginbotham (Joyce); and the mother of his children Dorma Yates.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Cary's name to the American Heart Association.
