James Calvin Newlin Obituary
In loving memory of James Calvin Newlin of Greentown, Indiana, who departed this world on July 10, 2025 at the age of 82. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Newlin and Josephine Newlin (Helsey); his wife Mary "Judy" Newlin; his daughter Erin Cottrell; his granddaughter Meghan Newlin; his sister-in-law Janice Cox (Kay); and his daughter-in-law Kim Newlin.
He is survived by: his son Doug Newlin (Pam); his grandchildren, Allison Newlin and Kristen Chitwood (Brandon); his sister Debbie Brooks (Donnie); his brother-in-law Bruce Cox (Liz); and his son-in-law Matt Cottrell.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hasler & Stout Funeral Home (112 E Main St, Greentown, IN 46936). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
