She was predeceased by: her parents, James M. Pence and Mary Pence (Landrum); and her husband James. She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Heckman (Angela) and Daniel Heckman (Carrie); her grandchildren, Matthew, Jennifer, Timothy (Jenny), Benjamin (Patrisha), Jacob (Christine), Michael (Jamie), James (Rachel), Sara (Matt) and Kayla; her great grandchildren, Grayden, Madison, Brooklyn, Dailynn, Palmer, Lillian, Jacob, Magnolia, Jaxton, Cohen, Harper, Avery, Eli and Cove; and her sisters, Dorothy, Betty and Joanna.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home (2097 W Alto Rd, Kokomo, IN 46902). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
