It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Gideon of Greenville, Indiana, who passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Edward Gideon Sr. and Jesse Mae Gideon (Stockton); and his sisters, Teresa Anna and Markeeta Ann (Rebecca Lynn Ferrell). He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Joshua Gideon (Aulana) and Stacy Gentry (John); his grandchildren, Sarah Brenton (Alec), Emmalou Gentry, Jacob Gentry (Shea), Allison Gideon, Julianna Latham (Jacob), Maelynn Gentry and John-Luke Gentry; his great grandchildren, Oliver Andrew Brenton and Eleanor Marie Latham; and his siblings, Robert Gideon (Barbara) and Kimberly Johnson. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
