He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Walter Banton, Jr. and Suzanne. He is survived by : his son Albert Samuel Banton, Jr. (Catherine); his grandson Albert Samuel Banton, III; his sister Susan Schilling; and his former life partner Louise Insley-Banton.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home (2898 N Morton St, Franklin, IN 46131). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
