He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Dougherty and Mayme Dougherty (Young); and his siblings, Dale Dougherty, Floyd Dougherty, Earl Dougherty, Troy G. Dougherty and Margaret Tilson.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret A. Dougherty (Lautenbach) of Greenwood, IN; his children, Melinda D. Plummer (Duane) of Bargersville, IN, Timothy D. Dougherty (Joanne) of Bargersville, IN and Matthew A. Dougherty (Amy) of Greenwood, IN; his grandchildren, Levi Plummer (Mary) of Needham, IN, Makayla Plummer of Indianapolis, IN, Emily Wilson (Nick) of Greensburg, IN, Eric Dougherty of Greenwood, IN and Ethan Dougherty of Greenwood, IN; and his sister Lucile Wheeler.
