He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Raker and Louise Thieman Raker; his son Scott Curtis Raker; his son-in-law Bryan D. Vaughn; and his siblings, Fred, Ray, Richard, Charles Raker and Carolyn Nordholt.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Mae Coleman; his children, Steve Raker (Donna), Susan Wiseman (Tom) and Amy Vaughn; and his grandchildren, Doug Raker (Jill), Chris Raker (Kelly), Ryan Wiseman (Andreia), Eric Wiseman (Michelle), Rebecca Miller, Jason Brown (Emily), Jodi Lash, Jamie Marocco (Anthony), Kristin Sauer (Bryan), Amy Vaughn and Eric Vaughn (Nicole). He is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
