He was predeceased by: his son Patrick Bruce Parsons; and his brothers, John Edd, Avery and Norris. He is survived by: his wife Julia Bernice; his daughters, Rissa Herndon (Gary) of New Palestine, IN and Tammy York (Bill) of Acton, IN; his grandchildren, Melissa Gipson (Mike), Jennifer Pyrcioch (Jake), Jonathan Schiewer (Chelsea) and Julianne Dale (Jacob); and his sister Mary Reeder of Celina, TN.. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
