He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence William Rhoades and Vallie LaVerne Rhoades (Edwards); his daughter Carol Ann Rhoades; and his brother William "Dusty" Rhoades. He is survived by: his wife Doris Rhoades (Lasiter) of Greenwood, IN; his children, Susan McKeen of Bloomington, IN, Linda Polesel (Rick) of Whiteland, IN and Gary Rhoades (Lisa) of Bargersville, IN; and his grandchildren, Travis Polesel (Heather) of Whiteland, IN, Autumn Houseman (Michael) of Greenwood, IN, Valli Shattuck (Patrick) of Greenwood, IN, Cori Wilkerson (Andrew) of Greensburg, IN, Chelsea Ruddick (Luke) of Bloomington, IN, Kendyl McKeen of Ellettsville, IN, Morgan Rhoades of Boston, MA, Courtney Goebel (Collin) of Loogootee, IN and Riley McKeen of Bloomington, IN. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
