She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Briggs and Laura Briggs; her grandparents, Elmer, Viola Bloosom, Earl and Cora Briggs; her son Ray Steele; and her siblings, Eloise Briggs and Elmer Briggs.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Steele and Chery Steele Brooks; and her brother Don Briggs. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
