We are sad to announce that, on August 29, 2023, at the age of 79, Cheryl A. Moore of Greenwood, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie J. York (Townsend) and Fletcher Hughes York; and her sister Janice K. Hood. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Murray (Julian) of Helen, Georgia, Fletcher Moore (Kristy) of Danville and Robin Moore Cadwallader (Michael Weaver) of Greenwood, Indiana; her siblings, Carolyn S. Carter (Steve) of Texas, Francine H. Herrin (Charlie) of Fairbanks, IN., Terry L. York (Julie) of Danville, Emma L. Hamilton (Brad) of Indianapolis, Gary L. York (Kelly) of Danville and Bonnie J. Bennett (Roger) of Danville; her brother-in-law Allen Hood of Plainfield; her grandchildren, Michael (Julia), Tyler (Sarah), Halley Downer, Ethan, Noah Murray, April, Gunn, Joshua Moore, Jessica Chupp (Randy), Victoria Moore and Libby Cadwallader; and her daughter Aletta Renee Moore. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
