With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Connie Surface of Greenwood, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Augustus Strouse and Kathryn Mae Strouse (Bailey); her husband Jeffrey L. "Jeff" Surface; and her sisters, Jacqueline Tielking Strakis and Patricia Wooten.
She is survived by: her children, Jody L. Schoettle (Chris) of Greenwood, IN and Robby D. Surface of Greenwood, IN; her grandchildren, Benjamin Surface, Daisy Surface, Molly Surface, Enza Schoettle Griffin (Luke), Emily Schoettle Bradley (Greg), Cammie Schoettle Owen (Ayrton) and Logan Schoettle; her great grandchildren, Brayden Lowe, Dean Griffin, Aviana Griffin, Lena Griffin, Emma Bradley and Bella Bradley; and her brother Thomas Strouse (Florence Henson) of Greenwood, IN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
