He was predeceased by: his fathers, James O'Mara and Ricky O'Mara; his brother Thomas O'Mara; his father-in-law Edgar Ransom; and his sister-in-law Teri Ransom.
He is survived by: his wife Cheri Ransom O'Mara; his sisters, Shannon Cochran, Judith Pettit (John) and Debbi Harshbarger (Greg); his siblings-in-law, Pam Ransom and Greg Ransom; his mother-in-law Fern Ransom; and his sister-in-law Maureen O'Mara. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
