He is survived by: his wife Terri Hanner; his children, Kyle Spurgeon (Lindsey) and Greg Spurgeon (Lasondra Land); his grandsons, Joel, Eli and Kaleb; his sister Shirley Long (George); and his brother-in-law Ted Bovard (Margie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
