He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Lee Coffey and Beulah Coffey (Gossage); and his siblings, Gordon Coffey, Doris Wohn, Wanda Richards and Phyllis Brix.
He is survived by: his wife Donna K. Coffey (Simmons) of Greenwood, IN; his children, Terri Scott of Greenwood, IN, Tom Coffey (Kelly) of Greenwood, IN, Amy Gordon (Jim) of Nashville, IN and Shelly Massey (Jason) of Mt. Juliet, TN; and his grandchildren, Brad Scott, Michelle Richey (Pax), Chris Coffey (Meghan), Brooke Kleiser (Eric), Abby Magner (Colton), Shelby Gordon, Nick Coffey, Allie Massey, Lauren Massey and Katie Massey. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
