He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Collins and Edith Collins; his daughter Norma Jean Collins; and his siblings, Ralph Collins and Gerane Cagle.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Collins (White); his daughters, Cathy Jo Messick (Darren), Ginger Lynn Murrell (Leonard) and Mary Ann Baker (Jim); his grandchildren, Morgan Messick (Nicole Johnson), Madison Gray (Cody), Sarah Berry (Thomas), Jordan Rice (Emily), Ricky Rice (Sami), Kay Marsh (Josh), Thadeus Starsiak (Anna), Jessie Starsiak, Joshua Baker (Kiersten), Wesley Baker (Tori) and Evan Baker (Lilia); his great grandchildren, Lila Jo, Sophia, Bella, Ember, Remmie, Kaden, Julie, Chrissy, Jamiella and Jasper; and his brother Ray Collins (Dixie).
