She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Cox and Mary Cox (Arvin); her siblings, Thelma Chapin (Al), Ross Cox, Gloria Sargeant (Pete) and Freeda Smith (Warren); and her boyfriend Paul Miller.
She is survived by: her sisters, Rotha Hudson (Kenneth), Jane Brown (David) and Sharon Cole. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
