He was predeceased by: his father William Enlow; his wife Marjorie (Loy); his son Ernest, Jr.; and his siblings, William (Buck), Jack and Mae.

He is survived by: his daughter Janice Curry; and his stepsons, Richard Baker and Dennis Baker. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
