He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter William "Bill" Jackson and Doris Mae Jackson (Bittner); his brothers, James Joseph "Jimmy" Jackson and Donald Ray "Donny" Jackson; and his nephews, Thomas Lane "Tommy" Birdwell Jr. and Donald Ray "Donny" Jackson II.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Connie Collins of Beech Grove, IN; his daughter Brittany Kay Jackson of Bloomington, IN.; his sisters, Dianna Lynn Jackson of Indianapolis, IN and Cynthia Bernadette "Cindy" Birdwell (Thomas); and his nephews, James Joseph "Jimmy" Pringle, Jeremy Dale Pringle, Jesse Sterling Pringle and Andrew Thomas "Andy" Birdwell.
