He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Peterman and Lucille Peterman; and his siblings, Jacolyn, Barbara, Daniel, Roselin, Clarence Jr. and Donald.

He is survived by: his sons, Jim Peterman, Chuck Peterman and Doug Peterman (Ashlee); his grandchildren, Christin Peterman, Chelsea Peterman, Kacie Murray, Stasi Hook, Riley Rees and Madison Kingery; his stepgrandchildren, Damon Weddle and Haley Goodwin; and his siblings, Charlene, William, Gloria, Stanley, Kathy, Delores, Mary, Teena, Elaine, Randall, Sharron, Henrietta and Frederick. He is also survived by his 10 great grandchildren, his several nieces and nephews.
