He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Cope and Joyce Cope; his wife Linda Cope; his daughter Natalie Dawn Leonard; and his brother David Cope.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberley Adams (Alan) of Tarpon Springs, FL, Jennifer Williams (Frank) of Greenwood and Matt Cope of Ocala, FL; and his siblings, Linda Ford, Peggy Daeger, Kathy Flora, Brenda Keith, Geri DeShon and Rusty Cope. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
