He was predeceased by: his mother Bernice Scifres. He is survived by: his father Dennis Scifres; his stepmother Sandy Scifres; his son Michael Andrew Scifres (Nina); his stepgrandchildren, Kayle and Chloe; and his siblings, Laura Linder (Brian) and John Scifres (Kris). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces, and his constant companion at home, "MJ", the cat.
