He is survived by: his wife Leslie Steadman; his children, Brady Steadman (Jacksyn), Brittney Steadman (Alec), Bailey Cockerham (Matthew) and Trevor Ashley (Kayla); his grandsons, Sawyer Leland Steadman and Sabastian Xavier Mason; his pet Sassy Maria; his brother William Steadman Jr. (Yvonna); his sister-in-law Stephanie Drown (Brian); his parents-in-law, Larry and Mary Ann Taylor; and his nieces, Jennifer Schoonover and Alicia Driscoll.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Branson Funeral Service & Crematory (6107 S East St, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Barnabas Catholic Church (8300 Rahke Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46217). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (734 N Morgantown Rd, Greenwood, IN 46142).
