He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Christine Mize (Whitaker) of Somerset, Kentucky. and Fredie Clifton Mize of Somerset, Kentucky.; his brothers, Larry (Glendora), Gary (Joanne) and Steve (Joyce); and his grandson Jaiden Enrique Mize Garcia.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Preston and Kenzie Hopper; his wife Sonia; and his siblings, Janet Kay Chaney, Judith Gay Hancock, James Allen Mize and Jane Dora Weaver (Eric). He is also survived by his children, Grandchildren.
