It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Vernon Thelen (Greenwood, Indiana), who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Thelen and Mary Thelen; his son Michael Thelen; and his brother Tom Thelen. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie (Marchal); his grandchildren, Heidi and Gabriel; and his siblings, Mary Thelen, Mike Thelen and Jim Thelen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (1977 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM. An entombment will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (1977 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143).
