She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence M. Shortt and Virginia Olive Shortt (Brewer); her husband Ronald Eugene Rice; her sister Shirley Reichenbacker (Jack); and her son-in-law Guy Schnepp.
She is survived by: her daughter Kelley Schnepp; her grandchildren, Kyle Schnepp and Kendall Schnepp; her great grandchild Alyssa Rose Osborne; her siblings, Patty Shufflebarger (John), Bob Shortt (Dan Smith), Sharon Amick (Chuck) and Susan Reporto (Peter); and her friends, Marilyn Hendricks and Pat Hulett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
For those choosing to make a memorial contribution, the family has suggested those be offered to either the Alzheimer's Foundation or Meals on Wheels.
