It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Lewis Yerian (Greenwood, Indiana), born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Samuel had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Samuel may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Atwell Yerian and Levisa Jane Yerian (Russell); and his siblings, Gideon Yerian and Louvella Hackworth (Yerian). He is survived by: his children, Lewis, Kenneth and Celesta; and his wife Jacqueline Yerian (Streator). He is also survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several friends.
