Sandra Bledsoe Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Bledsoe of Greenwood, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Sandra shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sandra farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dimmon Prentiss Abney and Henrietta Jeanette Abney (Jenkinson); her spouse Darriel W. Bledsoe; and her daughter Lori DeAnne Cady. She is survived by: her daughters, Sonja Daggett, Darriel Bledsoe and Shawnee Bledsoe; and her sisters, Donzella Loschky (Ronnie Loschky) and Margaret Jean Summitt. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Norman F. Chance Funeral Home and Cremation Service (504 National Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227).
