He was predeceased by: his parents, George Manter and Miriam Manter; his sister Pamela Crouch; and his nephew Joshua McCoy. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Manter (Bainaka); his children, Stephanie Holloway (Steve), Kim Olnick (Rusty), Katie Byrne and Terri Pettyjohn (Rick Simmons); his grandchildren, Caleb Holloway, Savannah Olnick, Russ Olnick, Ashlyn Olnick, Grant Byrne (Karre), Elijah Byrne (Edwina), Claire Price (Jay), Gavin Brady, Nate Pettyjohn, Gabe Simmons and Caleb Simmons; his great grandchildren, Seraiah, Luna, Atticus, Terry, Arya, Myles, Travis, Roman and Aria; and his siblings, Gary Manter (Debbie) and Judee Roller (Richard). He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Emmanuel Church (1640 W Stones Crossing Rd, Greenwood, IN 46143). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
