It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wayne R. Slater (Greenwood, Indiana), born in Bicknell, Indiana, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldo Slater and Josephine Slater; his former wife Sandy K Slater; and his brother Richard Slater. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay Helt; his daughter Connie Slater Allen; his son-in-law Kent Allen; his son Scott Slater; his daughter-in-law Sandy R Slater; his grandchildren, Amy Vinton (Dan) and Craig Allen (Brianne); his stepgrandchildren, Christopher and Presley Nicholson; and his great grandchildren, Yoshie Vinton, Elijah Vinton, Porter Vinton, Poppy Allen and Wells Allen.
