He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Boardman-Davis and Lona K. Knight; and his sister Helen Louise Busch-Gutzler. He is survived by: his wife Loueva M Davis (Hamm); his children, Wendell Boardman-Davis and Bridgett Ursula Davis; his grandchildren, Lilly E Sexson, Paul A Whiteman and Phillip C Whiteman; and his daughter-in-law Debbie Whiteman Davis.
He was commissioned the honor of Kentucky Colonel by Governor John Y Brown Jr. in 1981 - Recognition of a good deed, contribution to state prosperity, community service, or noteworthy action performed by an individual.
