He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolland Cruser and Opal Cruser (Bayless); and his brothers, Fred Cruser, Paul Cruser, Wayne Cruser and Steve Cruser.
He is survived by: his wife Patti A. Cruser (Jordan) of Greenwood, IN; his daughters, Cyndi D. Smith (Greg) of Zionsville, IN and Melissa L. Cochrane (Andrew) of Franklin, IN; his grandchildren, Lawrence Smith (Maggie), Hayli Beebe (Luke), Jessica Smith, Cami Cochrane, Maggi Vanderwerff (Matthew), Eli Cochrane, Emma Cochrane and Jake Smith; and his great grandchildren, Maya Vanderwerff, McCoy Vanderwerff and Nolan Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center (300 US 31 S, Greenwood, IN 46142). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at the Military Honors Greenlawn Cemetery (100 W South St, Franklin, IN 46131). A burial was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at the Greenlawn Cemetery (100 W South St, Franklin, IN 46131).
