He is survived by: his children, Tim McWhirter (Jan), Donnie McWhirter and Bob McWhirter (Richelle); and his grandchildren, Josh McWhirter (Meghan), Blaise McWhirter (Larmie), Ashlee Yoder (Chris), Garrett McWhirter (Andrea), Dillon McWhirter (Cora), Courtney Burke (Joey), Cassidy McWhirter and Matthew McWhirter. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
