He was predeceased by: his parents, James Tungate and Betsy Tungate (Vaught); and his siblings, Nancy Coffman and Richard Tungate. He is survived by: his children, Chip Tungate (Miriam) and Trini Henderson; his grandchildren, Connor Tungate (Allison), Garrett Henderson (Kelly), Hannah Henderson, Brianna Updike (Kameron), Savannah Updike (Jeremiah), Christian Updike and Evangeline Sonderborg; and his great grandchildren, Xavier Tungate, Aria Acree and Kenzington Acree. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
