We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2025, at the age of 87, Gordon E Simmons in Griffin, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Simmons; and his parents, Edgar and Phoebe. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Garrett (David), Cheryl Broster (Tom) and Gordie Simmons (Joanie); and his siblings, Odessa Straw, Claudette Carner, Lydia Mae Holderness, Edgar Allen and Wendell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sunset Funeral Home (1800 St George Rd, Evansville, IN 47711). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
