It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Athena Yokubaitis of Griffith, Indiana, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Athena Yokubaitis to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Anton and Mildred Dugger (Bob); her sister Shelley Martin; and her great grandchild Carter Diaz. She is survived by : her daughters, Michele Hale (Darrell) and Christine Rohl (Paul); her grandchildren, Erica Peterson, Zach Withers (Tanya), Asia Fisher, Alex Diaz (Mercedes) and Josh Rohl; her great grandchildren, Bri-Anne Andriessen (Brian Corrie), Savanah Ronjak, Emmy, Charlotte Withers and Bryson Diaz; and her siblings, Connie Chumbley and David Dugger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, you can make donations to Project Purple to support people who have been touched by pancreatic cancer.
