He is survived by: his wife Janis Francis; his children, Richard Francis (Casey) and April Purcell (Jason); his grandchildren, Amy Trezak (Kevin), Brad Joseph (Jodi Kateiva), Amber Carmichael (Colin), Izaiah Purcell, Kaylie Horsley, Jayden Purcell, John Trezak (Jessica Adkins), Geddy Trezak (Caitlyn Klos), Lindee Trezak, Rocket Kateiva, Cameron Carmichael and James Carmichael; and his brother Jeff Francis (Irene).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Cal's Angels, or a charity of the donor's choice.
