He was predeceased by: his parents, Gretchen Fowler and Garland Fowler; his brothers-in-law, John Phillips, John Agerter, Gerald and Gordon LaBounty; and his granddaughter Kaitlyn Fowler.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Fowler (LaBounty); his sisters, Judy Phillips (Fowler) and Anita Agerter (Fowler); and his children, Becky Grimmer (Karl), Jack Fowler (Sue), Jill Christenson (Jim), Kurt Fowler (Chris) and Joni Prendergast (Kevin). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the White Funeral Home and Cremation Services (921 W Glen Park Ave, Griffith, IN 46319). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Chapel Lawn Cemetery (48 E Joliet St, Schererville, IN 46375).
