He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Nowak and Xavier Nowak; and his sister-in-law Mavis Studzinski. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Nowak; his children, Donna Redmond (late Terry), Sue Bocian (Richard), Jerry, Lani Velez Nowak and Ann Twardosz (Greg); his grandchildren, Stephanie Gardner (Justin) and Jerome Matthew Nowak; his brother Claude Nowak (Theresa); and his brother-in-law Fredrick Studzinski. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Wounded Warriors, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or Shriners Children's Hospital would be appreciated.
