It is with sadness that the passing of Jerry E. Hayes of Griffith, Indiana is shared. Jerry, born on December 15, 1971, passed away on September 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Jerry will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Jerry by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Jerry is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Jerry’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki; his children, Wade, Alyssa, Savannah and Keira; his stepsons, Joshua Erwin and Jon Erwin; and his parents, Gerald Hayes and Carolyn Hayes. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Schererville American Legion Post 485 (7485 Burr St, Schererville, IN 46375).
