She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew Rieder; her parents, Joseph Spitz and Mary Spitz; her siblings, Joseph, Richard Spitz (Dick) and Ruth Schaller; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Glowinski, Mike Schaller and Joann Spitz.

She is survived by: her daughter Jill McNamara (Andy) of Crown Point; her grandchildren, Christopher Camisa of Lowell, Nicholas Camisa (Lauren Miller) of Westmont, IL and Lynn Camisa of Crown Point; her siblings, Mary Glowinski of Indianapolis and Jim Spitz (Vicki) of Schererville; and her sister-in-law Dolores Spitz of Hudson, WI..

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the White Funeral Home (921 W Glen Park Ave, Griffith, IN 46319). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (525 N Broad St, Griffith, IN 46319).
