We announce the death of Nancy Ann Stout of Griffith, Indiana, who passed away on October 20, 2026, at the age of 72. Nancy Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her mother Jimmie Fortner; her sister Judy Young; and her niece Telisha Nellet. She is survived by: her husband Mike Stout Sr.; her children, Mike Stout Jr. (Katie), Angela Warrick (Joseph) and Adam Stout (Susannah); her grandchildren, Zachary, Mariah, Corbin, Calvin, Christopher, Landri, Andrew, Emrielle and Cooper; her father Richard R. Fortner Sr.; and her brothers, Richard "Butch" Fortner Jr. (Gail) and Mike Fortner (Marcy). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White Funeral Home and Cremation Services (921 W Glen Park Ave, Griffith, IN 46319). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (525 N Broad St, Griffith, IN 46319).
