She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice Callahan; her siblings, Evelyn Hornberger, Alma Herbert and Ronald Dierckman; and her parents, Lawrence Dierckman and Anna Dierckman (Federle).
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Callahan (Kim), Debbie Bruns (Gerald), Greg Callahan (Marissa), Jackie Gaynor (Jake), Randy Callahan (Sharon), Brenda Ratz (Randy), Jeff "Gutz" Callahan, Tammy Bischoff (Andy), Darren Callahan (Teresa), Jamie Callahan and Kevin Callahan (Emily); her siblings, Thelma Schornick, Myrtle Hillenbrand (Hershel), Arnold Dierckman (Sharon), Carol Knue (John) and Roger Dierckman (Vivian); and her pets, Sandy, Rufus and Trooper. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren and 53 great grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:30 PM to 4:45 PM at the Parish Life Center (7536 Church Ln, West Harrison, IN 47060). Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (7536 Church Ln, West Harrison, IN 47060).
