With sadness, we share the passing of Estelle Marie Salisbury (Guilford, Indiana). Estelle, born on March 15, 1928, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edward and Loretta Mathilda Werner; her former husband Victor Kraus; her husband Ross Salisbury; and her siblings, Kenneth Werner, Dorothy Werner, Ardwin Werner, Lawrence Werner, Cletus Werner, Raymond Werner, Mary Cecile Maune, Doris Burdette and Bernice Abrams.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Kraus, David Kraus, Elizabeth Goldsmith (James), Martin Kraus (Connie) and Rosemary Lunsford (Mark); her grandchildren, Jeffery Kraus, Jennifer Gowdy, Brian Goldsmith (Trisha), Jessica John (Cory), Jason Kraus (Diana), Joshua Hornberger (Rachel), Jacob Hornberger (Katie) and Matthew Hornberger; her siblings, Omer Werner (Frances) and Lonnie Werner (Shirley); and her niece Joyce Hansell. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 9:00 AM and from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Andres-Wuestefeld Funeral Home (25615 IN-1, Guilford, IN 47022). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (7536 Church Ln, West Harrison, IN 47060). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery (7536 Church Ln, West Harrison, IN 47060).
Memorials in Estelle's honor can be made to Masses at St. Louis in Batesville or St. Maurice in Napoleon, or to PAWS of Dearborn County.
